PalmTM and Pocket PC Devices
The size and cost of PDAs make them a popular tool to use in the
field to communicate with our dataloggers. PConnect and PConnectCE Software offer
easy methods of using your PDA to interactively communicate with your datalogger.
The software supports functions such as transfer of data and programs, display of
real-time data, and graphing of datalogger data in a simple, intuitive fashion.
While our PDA software does not support all of the functions of LoggerNet or PC9000,
they can be helpful tools to keep in your Campbell tool box.
PConnect
- On-site communication functions include:
- Retrieve and display final storage data
- Graph one element from any array
- Set datalogger flags, ports and clock
- Monitor real-time data, updates every 2 seconds
- Access datalogger terminal mode
- Transfer datalogger programs
- Communicate at baud rates up to 38400 bps via a serial cable, RF401-series spread
spectrum radio, Bluetooth, or SC-IRDA Infrared Interface (IR communication not supported
by the CR200-series)
Allows use of PDA memory expansion cards

- Dataloggers Supported: CR200-series, CR500, CR510, CR10, CR10X, 21X, CR23X, CR1000,

- Communicates at 9600 bps via a user-supplied serial cable

Starter Software
Our Starter Software is designed for customers new to data acquisition equipment
or Campbell Scientific dataloggers. These programs are available at no cost from
our resource page and are designed to be easy to use.
